Ronda Hostetter has has over 25 years’ experience in the healthcare field, including practice management consulting, marketing, public relations, managed care and legislative affairs. She has created strategic and marketing plans for multiple physicians and groups in Austin, Houston and Dallas. Her clients have been both primary care and specialists including orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, pain management, otolaryngology, oncology and nephrology. Her background also involves numerous years working in the managed healthcare field with network development. It is her belief that every practice has the potential to grow and expand to better serve their patients.
Prior to becoming a consultant, she worked for Columbia Planning, Education and Consulting (HCA), Sweetwater Health Enterprises and Regis McKenna, Inc. She has served as Marketing Director of Charter Healthcare Systems and HCA Medical Center of Plano Behavioral Health programs. In addition to her work in several areas of practice management, she has extensive experience with the Texas legislature including lobbying and other advocacy issues.
She has been a speaker for numerous physician groups and organizations. Ms.Hostetter believes in the value of networking and participating in community based organizations. Leadership roles include serving on the Executive Board of Leadership Plano (Graduate of Class V), Board of the Junior League of Plano, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society and Collin County Healthcare Advisory Board. Hill Country organizations include serving as the first president both the Seton Highland Lakes Associates and Highland Lakes Health Partnership. Professional affiliations have included the American Marketing Association, Texas Medical Group Management Association and Women in Communications.
Ms.Hostetter graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas. Her Master of Science degree is in Business and Human Resource Management from Amber University in Dallas. Her husband is a residential builder in the Hill Country. The children and grandchildren live in Atlantic Beach, Florida and Austin. Hobbies include painting, genealogy and gardening.
